Top 5 Children's
Freeware Sites |
#1 Kids
Domain
This is a Super Children's Freeware/Shareware site. Their freeware
material is divided into different age groups to make it easy for
parents to locate the appropriate material for their child. There are
also download descriptions and even occasional screenshots. The only
real drawback of this site is there are no reviews for the
downloads. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a quality
children's freeware site, this is the site to go! The link above will
take you directly to their freeware section. Check them out! |
#2 Kids
Freeware
Kids Domain now has some new competition. This is a rather new site
with plenty of freeware games and software for children. The freeware
material is divided into the following categories: Just For Toddlers,
Bible Class, Color & Create, Cyber Pets, Desktop Fun, Explore,
Games, Holidays, Music, Play to Learn, Read & Write, Study with
Fun, and Listings A to Z. There's also a section devoted to
"Computers and Web" as well as a section for "Parents
Only." Definitely worth checking them out! This is an all
freeware site! |
#3 Grey
Olltwit's Freeware
The freeware games on this site were all designed by Grey Olltwit.
He's from England and he makes pretty decent children's software (all
freeware). Thanks Grey! This is an all freeware site! |
#4 Trendmasters
Kidzone
On this site, you'll find plenty of games, puzzles, coloring books,
and software designed especially for little children. So, if you have
a small child, you definitely have to check out this site (your child
will sing you praises). A mostly freeware site. |
#5 Family
Games
On this site, you will find both shareware and freeware games. The
freeware games are of good quality (mostly puzzles) and are all
designed by Nick Sullivan. If you want to save yourself the time of
downloading their software, you can also purchase their "The
Family Games CD" for a reasonable price. |
Honorable Mention: Warner
Bros. Games
This site doesn't have as many freeware kiddie games as Trendmasters,
but they do have a decent selection of games and activities for
children. Kids really seem to like their freeware material. |
